We took our first family vacation since 2011 this last week. We had planned to go to Colorado the summer 2020 but we all know what happened to those plans. We made of first stop in the St. Louis area to drop Tilly off with his sister. Becca and Arlo became best friends right away.
And look what we found west of St. Louis. Did you know the is a Hatton, MO?
It is a long drive from St. Louis to Denver.
The girls were very interested in the dinosaur at the Sinclair station.
We stopped for lunch somewhere in Kansas in a little park.
We were all excited to see some hills, even the smaller ones in Kansas. I never knew it was so pretty.
We had lots of time to look at the scenery.
It took us two days to get to Denver where we were housed for a night by my cousin Christine and feed by my brother's family. This is the very from Dan's back deck.
This was the best very of Pike's Peek we had as we went for a walk in their neighborhood.
We also had some fun in a nearby park. All the kids had fun with each others.
The next day, we headed even further west to dwell with in the Rocky Mountains.
