Pre-K Easter Party

I'm gonna keep this real simple today.  These are the picture I took at Becca's Preschool Easter party.  The kids all had a blast.  Enjoy.

Thanks!

Spring Flowers

This week I learned that last year's transplant worked.  The tulips and daffodils are in full bloom.

Becca put herself out and let me take her picture with the flowers.

A few more shots of the flowers.

I hope you enjoyed our pictures as much as we have the past few days.

March Madness

Hello and welcome to some more cuteness.  This blog simply contains random pictures from the month of March.  First up we have Becca displaying her fine building skills.

George shows off his keen fashion sense and love of all things sparkle

Pudding. need I say more.

Patrick went to the Children's Museum yesterday with his class.  Here are some photos that were shared with me by one of the other moms.  Thanks Stacey.

Here's a shock, Patrick with a bunch of girls!

That's it for now.  I hope you enjoyed my post.

St. Patrick's Day 2012

We started out day way too early on St. Patrick's Day with George at 3AM.  So Mike decided to be festive and make green shamrock pancakes.

Becca got cold and climbed into Dad's fleece.

We represented our school this year in the Peoria St. Pat's Day parade.  Becca was a wee bit excited.

Teddy and George rode in a wagon and the other kids walked.

It wasn't long before we saw Sydney and other school friends.

We also saw the bishop and the Peoria Notre Dame mascot.

St. Pat's School was the second or third group in a very long parade.  Here's our group as we came to the end of the route.

We saw some friends watching.

No parade is complete without a storm trooper wearing green Hawaiian shorts.

Its Been TOO Long

Sorry, it has been a long time since I posted something but we just haven't been taking pictures lately.  Not much to tell, we've just been making it through the winter like everyone else.  I did go in to school to help with the Valentine's day party.  Here is a great shot of Patrick with his friend Sydney and George doing his thing in the back ground.
We did have a photo session with our 2-year old last month.  This is the one we sent out.

This is the one I wanted to send but Mike thought it was too cheesy, which is why I love it.
 More cuteness.

At the end of February our church/school community was able to witness a miracle. A second grader at our school was diagnosed with leukemia last summer and its been a brutal battle.  But last week Grace Jenkins was allowed to come home and the whole school was out to greet her.  Her mother was kind enough to drive by the school where all the kids greeted her with signs and cheers.  It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and I'm grateful to have been a part of it.

The boys both had ear infections and the whole family was pretty congested.  George has officially been moved into the bottom bunk but he's still getting used to it, which means we have to sit on the floor next to him until he's quite.  On the upside, with the congestion gone, he's sleeping through the night and so are Mike and I.  Patrick continues to wow me with his reading (now at mid-first grade level!) and Becca is my helper here at home and working hard at school.  All in all, we're doing well and looking forward to getting outside a bit more this spring.
