The Birthday Girls

We celebrated our girls a little differently this year.  I managed to get a few shots of them together before school started.  You can see that Becca is still half asleep for these.

For the first time in her life, Cecilia got to celebrate her birthday alone.  Becca was busy with basketball and cheerleading.  She had homemade pizza for dinner and Dragon's Breathe ice cream for desert.

Who knew a dragon's breathe was purple?

Later that week, when she didn't have so much going on, Becca got a solo celebration as well.  She did enjoy herself despite the look she's giving the camera.

Its hard to believe but Becca has almost finished her last year of basketball at St. Pats.  The whole family got to go to 8th Grade Night (there have been attendance restrictions) and celebrate all the girls.  I love that all the other 8th graders from our school showed up to celebrate as well.

Here are all the 8th grade boys and most of the other girls acting as cheerleaders.

Here we are with our big girl.

Eagle Scout Project

Back in September, Patrick was able to execute his plan to built a new campsite at Camp Wokanda for his Eagle project.  First we had to rake the area,

We also fixed some picnic tables in much need or repair.

Taking a break.

Mr. Rutter hanging with Becca.

Digging a post hole for the site sign.

George had to see how deep the hole was.

Time to plant some trees.

And don't forget the post project leader lift!

It was a great day full of hard work and fun.  Now he has to get his written work finished and send it in to be reviewed.
