Graduation

In May Rebecca finished her time at St. Pat's.  Every year (except 2020) the whole school and parents makes tunnel for the graduates to run through.

The 2022 8th grade class.

The girls

Mike and I sat on opposite sides of the church so you will get both sides of the events here.

Becca has been cantoring at school Mass all year and was asked to do so again at graduation.

And now it's time for the diploma, or something like it.  Frist from Father John.

And then from Mrs. Shipman, our principal.

Becca and her bestie Anna.

The proud parents.

And grandparents.
Always a class act just like her mother.

Some of you may be wondering why Becca is wearing a suit.  Its simple, she wanted to.  And she looked stellar in it.

These two have been friends since diapers.

That's it for graduation.  Becca is enrolled at Washington Community High School and has already finished her first class.  She hopes to be on swim and soccer teams as well as explore some more art and drama.  Whatever she decides to do, I'm sure she will" slay" it.

ND Blue Gold Game

In April, we made a trip to South Bend to watch the Notre Dame football team play their spring scrimmage and let Patrick check out the University.  While Mike and Pat took the tour, we ran around campus.

It was a great trip.  It's still hard to believe that Patrick is looking at colleges already./

April

I am woefully behind on updating this blog.  I will attempted to share pictures from the last 4 months here today.  Let's start with April.  We took our usually family picture at Easter.

Patrick was invited to prom by his long time friend Sam.  Doesn't he look thrilled.

I don't know what Mike or George is doing here but its a nice picture.

Lia strikes a pose.

The lovely couple.

It's hard to get too serious with a friend you've known since you were 2.

Okay, that's all I have right now.  Mike took most of these but I'm sure he has more stored away somewhere.  Come back soon for May.
