One Month Old

Rebecca just had her one month check-up today. Her doctor says she's doing great and is up to 10 lbs 5oz. and 21 1/2" long. And Meg was worried about her eating enough. Thankfully, she's also starting to sleep a little bit better than she had been.

We had a very busy Thanksgiving week. As I posted last time, Meg's Grandma Quigley passed away the Sunday before, which led to an unplanned trip to South Bend, and an impromptu Thanksgiving dinner for about 30. I did my part by making 5 pies before leaving for South Bend, and then being T's sous chef at one of the 3 kitchens the dinner was cooked at. The homemade cranberry sauce was particularly good. I'm sure that Grandma Quigley was happy to see her family gathered together to celebrate her life.

We also managed to slip over to my Aunt Mary's, where my parents had driven down so Becca could finally meet her Grandpa Hatton, (bum-bum to Patrick) as well as Great Grandma and Grandpa Hatton.

The following Monday was Meg's first day all alone with both kids, and has now started getting into something of a routine, although I can usually tell when I get home from work the days where she didn't get a nap.

Well enough of this chit-chat, on to the pictures.

One of my 5 pies. This one was apple.

Rebecca is only the second grand or great grand daughter on the Hatton side. Can you tell?
