End of July Already?

School starts again soon and the summer is almost over.  We've managed to keep busy and not kill each other...yet.  Let's begin with the girls at George's baseball tournament game.

Floor time!

Looking good in sparkles.

George will do anything to make Mary laugh.  Like this silliness.

Patrick decided to take some pictures of me holding Mary.  I'm only going to share a few.

Imaginations flow free in our basement and sometimes trickle up the stairs.
On the way home after a long, hot, fun day at a lake.

But Lia's still wide awake!

George and Mary just hanging.

She looks so sweet.

There is usually a fight over who gets to hold Mary.  This morning Patrick got a chance.

As I said, school starts in about two weeks.  Swim team and swimming lessons are finished, Totus Tuus (vacation bible school) was this past week, and we're all starting to get on each other's nerves.  I think we can make it to Thursday which is Prep Day and then everyone will be switching to school mode.

George has his first loose tooth (really there's two) and Becca and Pat both have some ready to come out as well.  Mary is drooling up and storm and you can see the teeth right under the gums.  Lia's teeth remain fulling in tacked.  Mary has been busy trying to do several things at once but she finally decided to roll over again today, twice.  Then she scooted across the floor for a bit.   All in all, everyone is healthy and fairly happy.

Summer Moves On

It has been a busy summer.  George started swimming lessons this year so here's a picture of us at the pool.

Patrick making Mary smile.

A few weeks ago Becca lunched herself off a swing and sprained her wrist.  We we're sure if she broke it so we had to get an x-ray.  Here we are waiting to see the doctor.

But spraining her wrist didn't slow our Becca down.  That week she played 3 softball games and went swim practice 4 or 5 days (I made her take Monday off).

We made a trip to the candy shop last week to support St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  Did you know it take 4 children a full hour to each eat a slushy?

Just being goofy at the pool.

I asked her to look sad.

Lia just wanted her picture taken.

Mary has been working on her roll over.  She gets on her side but seems afraid to let herself finish the task.  And then when she is on her belly, she pulls up her legs and pushes herself forward.  Slow down girlfriend, Mom is not ready for you to be mobile!

She really likes to be upright.

Our take on tummy time.
