Lia's First Tooth

Just wanted to report that Cecilia finally had a tooth push its way through.  I can't really see it yet but I can feel the ridges when I rub my finger on her gums.  I did forgive her those 2+ hours she kept both her parents up very early this morning.

I have a few random pictures to share today.  I did share this first few on Facebook but they're worth sharing again.

Here we see George hard at work with the Duplos.  They've become a favorite of his.

 Mike was able to catch Lia on the move.  She scoots more than she crawls because it's faster but I have seen more crawling this week.

Yesterday George asked me to take this picture of his newest tower.

That's all the pictures we've taken this month.  Baseball ended for Patrick early this week, they lost they're first tournament game.  Swimming lessons for the oldest two have taken over our mornings.  Lia has discovered that she likes putting her face in the water...kinda.  The house is still for sale (no showings this week) and there's an open house scheduled for Sunday.  Please keep the prayers coming for us.

Triathlon

So Mike did a triathlon last weekend and the kids and went to cheer him on.  Here are some pictures.  Lia enjoying the outdoors.

This poor guy got a flat early in the biking stage.  The kids were very concerned for him.  After trying to get his CO thingy twice, he had to walk back to the start.  We cheered very loudly when he finally came back.

Yes this was staged but still cute!

Mike told me later that he felt like he was photo bombing the runner in front of him.

Mike did not get the time he wanted but I think he did a fantastic job.  We're all so proud of you Mike and can't wait to see how you do next year.

Lots Going On

It's been a bit crazy around here lately.  We put the house on the market about a week and a half ago. Before the first showing, Mike and I had to paint to back porch walls.  Lia was unhappy outside, then inside, then outside again.  After a few minutes of silence this is what I found.

Lia has been busy learning to crawl.  She can almost bear crawl and loves her new found mobility.  The other kids are really good about keeping the small stuff of the floor.  

Now on to Tee-ball.  Here's Becca at bat.

  We had 10 showings between last Sunday and Thursday but no offers yet.  It's been fun keeping the house super clean and leaving for at least an hour.  We don't expect a lot of traffic this week given the holiday.  We've yet to find our next home as well.  Please keep praying that both ends of this process work out well.
