All About Lia

Lia played her first season of soccer this spring.  With three kids playing and Mike being her coach, I didn't get to see all her playing time.  But I managed to get some pictures of the last game.

Who cares if he's too big for the chair?

I guess he's thirsty.

You can't really see in this picture but Mary is in the middle of that hands in.

Getting her participation medal.

Lia also finished preK3 last week and we celebrated with a class picnic.

Mary and Lia had a hair-raising experience on the slide.

It was kinda warm so the boys played in the drinking fountain.  Lia was telling them to stop.

Yeah swings!

 The class.

Mary found some wheels to turn.

Lia with all her swag.

A lot of changes for Lia last week.  She's starting to read and did some math on the computer yesterday.  We try to keep her challenged while remember she's only four.  We love our little stubborn, mouthy, smarty pants.

Visiting Cousins and More

Between school, soccer, softball, and track, we've been busy.  But now school is almost over and I need to catch up on some pictures.  Here's some cute ones of Mary and Lia as we wait for the others to get out of school.

The trombone section at the St. Patrick's spring concert.

We headed down south to St. Louis to celebrate our nephew's 1st Communion.  We took a few shot of all the girls.  I didn't realized I had my sunglasses on.

George was photo bombing, which means he was running around out making explosion noises.

Mary made friends with Gabe and the big ball.

Why do have your feet on my ball AJ?

When we got back, the kids were hot so we went to the sprinkler park to cool off.

This week is the end of the school year and I'm not sure I'm ready for summer.  We'll start off with a bang by going to 7AM Mass (Becca's first week as an altar server!) and then we jump right into swim team.  Don't forget about softball!  Come back soon for last day of school pictures.

Soccer and Silliness!

We might have more than our fair share of silliness around here, and I'm pretty sure most of it starts with this guy.

We had a STREAM night at school last week in which the kids got to have fun with physics. Here is George learning how to build a catapult out of tongue depressors and rubber bands.
Rebecca and Rebekah working together.

I did my best to keep Mary entertained while her buddy Lia was at soccer with Dad.
George's favorite part was shooting the marshmallows across the room.

Here they were playing with  robotic Legos.  I just stayed out of the way.

It is spring, which in our house means soccer.  It has been a wet season so many games have been missed or rescheduled.  George got silly watching Becca play.

I kept Mary as warm as I could hoping she would sleep.

More silliness.

A bow on my baby!

This is what happened yesterday when I wiped Mary's face off after having an Oreo cookie.

Today, the school band played at the Peoria Courthouse.  I wasn't able to go due to nap time, but another mom was kind enough to send me this picture.  Thanks Marla.

We are all healthy here in the Hatton house.  A friend of Becca's  has to have open heart surgery this Thursday.  The doctors are confident that things will go well but I'm asking all of you to pray for Lydia.
