Too Cute

Becca let me put her hair in pigtails this morning and I quickly took a picture before she could take them out. Isn't she cute?

Switching to Zone

For those of you who haven't heard, Patrick and Becca are going to have a little brother or sister in February. LBH#3 is growing and kicking up a storm. The other two love to pull up my shirt and kiss or blow on my belly. We had our 1/2 way ultrasound last week but we didn't get a good picture of the little bugger. We do have some nice pictures of the other two. Here are Patrick and Becca (kinda) signally a touchdown while watching the MSU game.

Here Mike helps Patrick do some push-ups after the second touchdown.

Here are some back pictures we missed. Sam was concerned that Becca was in the toy box until I told her it was okay. She didn't hesitate to join her.

I'm not really sure what Becca was doing here but we were getting ready to watch Dad play soccer.

Not much going on around here. All the Hatton offspring are doing well. Patrick is loving pre-school and Becca is working on her two-year molars. I've been feeling really tired which makes me grumpy and the poor kids have to deal with me. But I think tired is the way its gonna be for awhile and we'll all figure out how to live and love each other. Welcome back to the mid-west Aunt Annie! Please visit when you have a chance.

First day of Pre-School

Today was Patrick's first day of pre-school. I can't believe he's so old already. I managed to take a nice picture before we left the house.

Here he is ready to go inside and learn.

He hung up his backpack...

...and found his seat.

I gave him a big hug good-bye and left before any tears could happen. Mine, not his. Becca did not want to go and kept repeating "pre-school" and "patty" over and over again.

He was very excited to see me when I picked him up, which made me happy. He said he had fun but before I could get any good details out of him, we got stopped by a train. That excitement seems to have driving away the fun of pre-school. I'm very proud of my little man and hope he takes a good nap today.

Big weekend

Hello all. A lot has happened since I last posted. Mike took the time last weekend to build a mini-shuttle launch for the kids. I personally like the dragon attacking it.

Patrick also had "Unpack Your Backpack Day" at pre-school. The kids got a chance to check out the school before they start tomorrow. Patrick made himself at home and seemed to wonder why the other kids were clinging to their mom's legs.

By the time they got to the playground, all fear was gone and they had some fun.

This weekend we went to South Bend for the first game of the season. Here is Becca getting some love from Aunt Teresa.

Gabe and Patrick were equally excited to see each other and proceeded to chase the other around for the weekend.

Back at the the house Becca made herself comfy in Luke's chair.

I think it fits Luke much better, don't you?

Becca was happy to give a cheesy grin while sitting next to her younger cousin.

Saturday we took the kids to see the band. Patrick was very excited to see Kanka.

And Kanka's dad. I think Mr. Katricak is ready for a grandkid or two, no pressure Erin!

While Patrick was running around, Becca was taking a nap on mom.

Here Becca went to Erin in one of her brief awake periods.

But it did not last. Grandpa makes a good pillow.

Patrick was still having a blast.

On Sunday we headed over to Great Grandma Sullivan's to have a little party. Here's Patrick charming Aunt Ellen.

The Dillion girls were kind enough to chase my little monsters around for awhile so we could eat.

Becca enjoyed hanging out with Grandma.

And everybody loves to hang out with Aunt Kate. She's silly.

We celebrated a few birthdays, including my own, and Patrick and Becca blew out the candles for us.

Claire and Becca looking beautiful.

Dan, Teresa and the boys made it right before we left. Isn't Luke cute?

Gabe cracks me up.

And the chase was on one last time.

We hope life is treating you all well. It was great to see so much family this weekend and we missed those who couldn't come. Thanks to everyone for the birthday greetings
