Summer is Here!

Its been busy around our house lately.  The Summer Reading Program is back and the shows have been great.  Patrick was picked to participate with the magician.

I pitting cherries when George came up to me and said "Mom come see what I did!"  So I follow him into the living room to see a tower made out of toy plates and glasses.  The first tower fell while I tried to get out the camera but he decided to built it again.  It took 5 or 6 tries but he finally did it again and the camera was ready.

This little lady has been busy herself.  She is pulling herself around the room. sitting up, and trying to crawl.  She's even found some words:  "da da da" (said very sweetly), "ma ma ma" (said like a cuse word) and "ba ba ba" which I think refers to the other three yahoos.

Now for some pictures of Patrick playing baseball.  He's far from being the best on the team and we have him practicing to get better, but he's having fun.

Getting ready to bat.

Some swings.

We're busy cleaning up the house and will have it on the market this week, today even.  Please say a prayer for us as we enter this stressful time, both waiting for our house to sell and finding a new one to move into.  We hope you all continue to well and to see you again soon.

She's Sitting Up!

Well, she's been toying with this one for awhile but I'm finally calling it.  Cecilia is officially sitting up by herself.  I've seen her stay up for more than ten seconds and under control several times this weekend.  Here are some pics.

Oh, there you are Dad!
I think both my parents are crazy (which they are) so I'll smile!
We also went to the Peoria Zoo this week with some preschool friends.  Thanks Trish Crull for the pictures. Its hard to carry a camera with ALL my yahoos.

The kids and I made our way north yesterday morning to visit with Great-Grandma and Great Grandpa Hatton.  Aunt Mary, Laura, and Nick also joined us for lunch.  It was a lot of driving to do in one day but we want the kids to have some memories with their last-living great grandparents.

Last night Patrick and I also had a date to see The Music Man at the Corn Stock Theatre in Peoria.  His best friend Ellie was one of the River City kids and we had to go see her perform.  It was a late night and I fought the urge to sing a long, but we had a lot of fun.

We continue to work on our house and hope to get it on the market soon.  Please say a prayer that it sells in a timely manner and we find another house soon.

She's a Scooter!

Here's a short but fun video of Lia getting around the room.  She has managed to get across the room and in the mix with the other kids petty quick.  Enjoy!
