Sully Fest 2017

Every December we make our way to Northern Indiana to spend some time with the Sullivan Clan.  Our entry fee is fudge.  Mike and the kids did a great making it.

Hanging with my Ma!

We got Mary all dressed to go sledding.  I think she made it down once before Mike gave up.  She wasn't very thrilled to get all the gear on either.

As it turns out, Miss Mary had an ear infection and spend a lot of time with Dad.

Like good Irish-Catholics, we brought our own priest to celebrate Mass for us.  (Don't be too impressed, this is Eddie Shea, my dad's cousin and fellow Notre Dame Band Alum).

My Dad would call this the Geezer club.

It was a Star Wars kinda Christmas for us.  Most of our party went to see the new movie on Saturday night and all the kids got t-shirts.  Here's the girls.

Patrick loves his Star Wars periodic table shirt!

Mary got a toy cleaning set from my sister.  She LOVES it.

Its hard work riding around in the back of the van.

We also had our school Christmas concert this week.  Becca asked to put her hair up in curlers.  She's so cute.

The year as flown by.  I will post again next week off all the holiday doings, provided my phone and computer cooperate with me.  Merry Christmas to you all!

Robots, Trampolines, and General Mayhem

Both Becca and Pat were part of the Lego League this fall.  This entails the kids building and programming robots made of Legos.  Mike coached Pat's team so her are some pictures from that competition.

That same day, our Cub Scout Pack went to Elevate Trampoline Park in Peoria.

This gives you a pretty good idea of what its like.

Lia also got to jump around with some friends but Mary and I stayed on the side.
Goofing off in our pjs.

With everyone else in bed, its a great time for Pat and Mary to wrestle.

Ok, one more post coming tonight.

Getting Our Tree

One Friday after school we made our way to the other side of Peoria county to pick out our Christmas tree.  George got to cut first.

Get Dad!

Lia's turn.

Mary enjoyed herself as well...but no cutting.

I even cut this time.

Victory!

Because the sun was setting fast, Pat and Becca went to get a cart.

This is the final produce.  Its a little shorter than years past, but very pretty.

Its Been Way Too Long

It has been almost two months since I last posted.  I'm sorry.  I will try to catch you up.  First we have a picture of the St. Pat's Choir at the cathedral.

Some general cuteness from Mary and Lia.

What do you do when you finish off
a bag of frozen corn?  Wear the bag on your head of course.

Black eye for Mary.
 Watching TV.

Becca had me twist up her hair to make it curly.

A friend came over to try out a birthday present.
Who knew black clay could make your hands so dirty?

Fun with Aunt Pat's birthday present.

The girl loves her crackers.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, we finally reward George for learning all those sight words over the summer.  An explosion.

Waiting...

Okay, so it wasn't really an "explosion" but it had flames and smoke so George was happy.

Becca showing off her new glasses, complete with bifocals.
Don't go to far, I've got plenty more to share.
