End of August

Can you believe August is almost over? Here are this weeks pictures. First we have Patrick sporting a lovely Hawaiian shirt. Maybe I've been reading too Much Harry Potter, but doesn't it look like some weird dress robe?

Here's Becca and myself smiling for the camera.

I bought the kids some Saint Mary's shirts when we were in South Bend. Don't they look great?

And Becca is extremely happy to be wearing SMC!

Mike brought Patrick home a tractor last week. He's been playing with it ever since.

Becca is trying to walk but not quiet there yet. She did take 3 independent steps last Friday but nothing I'd call walking yet.

Mike, once again, shows off what a great father he is by "juggling" the kids.

Missing Dad

Mike is away this week so I thought some videos of the kids would be nice. First we have Becca and Patrick petting our neighbors cat, Louis. Thank you Louis for being so patience.

Grandma and pa Sullivan did the grandkid tour. Its first stop is in South Bend, then on to Columbus, and a stop over here before going home to Iowa.

Some generally goofiness.

Here Mike is giving both kids a superman at the same time!

Dad cutting the grass is a very exciting event.

And I end with another video. Not much happens but Becca grabbing the camera is pretty cute.

We all miss you Dad and can't wait for you to come home!

From the Bend

We started our time in South Bend with some live music and dancing downtown.

The big fun was with all the toys at the Sullivan house. Here Becca discovers how great the slide is.

Gabe, our God son, on a bike. Yes folks, he's only 2.

But Becca's 9 months old and looks like a big girl on this bike.

Pat and Erin find other wheels.

And John brought all his football gear to shape up.

Did someone say "FOOTBALL!!"?

Becca conquered the step at my brother's house. Watch and see how proud she is of herself.

To all my relative that we saw but did not make it on the blog, I apologize. I was a little busy at Grandma's to take out my camera. If you have any you'd like to share feel free to e-mail them to me or Mike. Congratulations to Brittany and Klondike/Jim. We're very happy for you and think its about time!

Trip to the Zoo

I'm having trouble up-loading all the pictures so here are a few. We went to South Bend to visit some of my large family. The Coffey, Sullivan, and Hatton children went to the zoo. Here is Becca enjoying the site with Grandma Sullivan.

John, AJ, Patrick, Erin and Katie found a tortoise to ride.

The kids over-looking the greedy fish. Shortly after this picture was taken, one of the lions we just passed started to roar.

Here is the lion meditating before his performance.

All the kids loved brushing the goats, except Patrick. He saw one butt another as he approached them and decided they weren't so cool.

The following pictures were taken before we left home.

Here are Sam and Pia enjoying our work bench/kitchen.

And these little cuties, Emily and Becca, enjoyed the tools.

Good bye Bob!

As some of you may know, Bob the giraffe has been a loving and devoted friend for almost 2 years now. But due to constant chewing (see picture below) Bob has lost both eyes and most of his nose in comforting Patrick. After several months of saying "poor Bob" every night, I pulled him out of the bed today and replaced him with Bob the 2nd.

He went on every road trip and protected Patrick whenever he slept.

This is Bob the 2nd. Although he will never be as great and wonderful as his namesake, I'm sure he'll be comforting and loving to our boy. And not cause a quarantine to be placed on our home.

More Camping Pictures

Thanks Grandma for positing these pictures. I stole them for myself. First of all we have Mike and Patrick with Mike's inheritance from the Dale family.

Here is Mike and Patrick on our morning hike.

Here we all are but Becca may be asleep in this picture.

The happy hikers.

After a long hike, we headed off the the beach where both kids learned how much fun sand can be.

Pat even got to go canoeing again.

Let's end with more proof that Patrick is a ladies man.

We Went Camping

We spent the weekend at Govern Dodge State Park in Wisconsin. This was Becca's first camping trip and her introduction to the Dales and the Skoniecznys, or at least some of them. Patrick walked most of a 2-mile hike in the morning, skipped his nap for the beach and stayed up late on Saturday. It took him about 2 minutes to fall asleep that night. Becca, on the other hand, hadn't had much down time and was very antsy that night. I think everyone in the camp ground knew we were there with all the crying from both kids. We did manage to have some fun too.

Becca in a rare moment of peace with Grandma.

Doesn't Grandpa Hatton look proud of his wonderful grandchildren?

Patrick ran off before we could take a picture with both kids.

And Becca just wanted to eat Grandma's hat.

Patrick spent a lot of time making "cheese burgers" for everyone.

And here is Mrs. Betsy Dale with our Becca.

More picture were taken just not by us. I'm sure we'll get some via e-mail soon or you can check out our newest link. I'm sure there will be some up soon!
