Busy Birthday!

As you know, on November 3rd Becca turned 9 and Lia turned 4.  They are both growing up way too fast but beautifully.

A birthday breakfast of cereal.

Here is a outfit Grandma S made for Becca.

Lia told G&G S that she wanted dollars, so they gave her two.  I wish I had caught the look on her face when she opened the card and found the money.

Nice dreader (that's dress + sweater)!

Lia had both school and story time on her birthday.  Mary was very happy to crawl around the room.

We had home-made pizza and ice cream for dinner.  Mike put candles in the ice cream.

Becca scored roller blades for G&G H.

And Lia got a music box.

Legos!

The other kids (via Mom) got them the new Equestria Girls movie.

On top of sharing a birthday with each other and their great-grandma Quigley, some local friends welcomed a son this year on Nov 3, adding to the list of birthday buddies.  The girls enjoyed their day and I have helped build many Lego sets the past few days.

All Saints Day

Today George was St. George for St. Pat's All Saints Day celebration.  Here he is at home being totally goofy.

Here come the Saints!  I didn't get all of them, but I did get some or our friends.

Kara Kaminski shared this amazing photo today of George and Mariah laughing at Fr Julius.

All the 1st grade saints.

In completed unrelated new, Patrick and I ran a 5K last Saturday.  He finished in 26:48 and I finished in 30:49.

Halloween 2016

Our Halloween celebrations started last Tuesday with Lia's preK3 party.  Here she is in the van ready to party.

Lia and her boys waiting for some candy in school.

There are just four kids in the class right now and Lia was telling us how she is in charge with Miss Keck.
We also  helped celebrate 5 years cancer free for a young lady at our school. Mike went as Arthur Dent.

Sunday we finally got around to getting pumpkins.

G&G Sullivan came over for some festivities.  Of course they had to read a book or twelve.

On Halloween Day, Becca gave a speech about Mother Teresa, complete with costume.

Here are the kids ready to get going right after Lia's dress got caught in the wheel of the stroller.  Maybe that's why Mary was crying.

Come back soon for All Saints Day pictures!
