My Big Boy

Yesterday Patrick brought this home from school. This is the first time he's written his name. The teacher wrote the top one, clearly, but Patrick did the second one. The "P" and "a" are hard to see but they are there. I am a very proud mom!

April Showers

We spent much of the last week in-doors. George has come to love the exersaucer. Becca and Patrick do their part to keep him interested.

Here Pat and Becca take a moment from fighting to smile for the camera.
.
Despite the rain, we went to a birthday party on Sunday at the park. Becca and Patrick wasted no time climbing up the equipment.

There was a zip line at the park. But the kids didn't like it...NOT!

Last week I forgot to include our traditional Tax Day picture so here it is.

George continues to spit-up and we all have running noses. But we've managed to avoid the nastier stuff floating around town, Thank God. We hope the same for you and to see you soon.

Another week goes by

Another week, another dozen pictures. Here are some great one from the last week or so.

Becca rockin' the pigtails as George has some tummy time.
Proof of how strong our little boy is. Only ten weeks old and holding up his head.

And this is what Patrick does with most of his time. Its all about playing construction site these days. But don't get in his way!

Well that's it for now. Stop by and see us when you can. And if you have an advice on 4-year-old boys how suddenly don't want to play with their two-year-old sisters I'm all ears.

Columbus Cousins

We made the trip to Columbus this past weekend to see 6 of the cousins and all of my sisters. Here George meets Aunt Maureen. They liked each other right away.

Yes, even Pat made the drive in from Philadelphia to meet George.

Some how we didn't get a picture of George with Elizabeth. A gross over site, sorry Liz.

The Coffey kids were excited to meet their newest cousin.

We also were to celebrate Jake's 1st birthday.

He really enjoyed the cake.

The kids at dinner.

On Saturday Erin and John had ball practice. The kids had a great time just running around.

Becca and Clara were like two peas in a pod all weekend.

Pat and Becca even took some time to play with just each other.

There was a playground next to the ball fields. Patrick and Liam were also together a lot.

Princess Clara in her tower.

Jake just chilling.

Becca was so proud when she made it across the chain bridge all by herself. Don't worry Jan, she had a spotter.

All the girls are great climbers.

John and Liam found time to play Star Wars.

We stopped by the Coffey's on the way out of town. Mike took some more fabulous pictures.

Isn't Jake sweet?

We'll end with a picture of George and just some of the women who adore him.

We had a great time and would like to again thank the Venias for the lodging, the Coffeys for the multiple meals, and Pat for making the drive. We would also like to welcome the newest members of the family, Avery and Bryn Clark. The girls were born over the weekend to my cousin Mike. I hear mother and babies are doing great. God bless you all and we hope to see you soon.

Happy Easter

George turned two-months old last Friday and had a check-up. He is officially 11lb 5oz and 22.5in long. Here is a picture of him laughing at his silly mom.

This weekend Grandma & Grandpa Hatton, along with Aunt Annie cane to celebrate Easter with us. Grandma made a lamb cake. I think the red eyes make it look demonic, don' t you?

Mike got some nice shots of the kids. Sorry we didn't get one of George. He did what 2-month-old do and pooped in his dress clothes.

We went over to the Showalter's house for an egg hunt. As you can see, it was a little windy.

Here is the first picture of the 5 of us. We're looking pretty good all dolled up, huh?

We hope you all had a blessed Easter Sunday and that life is treating you well.
