Scouting News

February was packed full of Scouting events for our family.  Patrick had his last den meeting ever!

George also finished up is Tiger requirements.  The boys had to build a tower out of pasta and marshmallows.

We also had our pack's annual Blue-Gold banquet.  Here I am with my Tiger den performing a song.  It went about as well as you would expect.
All the boys earned their Tiger.  Here are some shots of George's celebration.

Patrick, along with the other two members of his den, achieved his Arrow of Light this year.  He worked hard to get this award and we are very proud of him.

All the boys with the arrows Mike painted during one of his three trips to Minnesota.

The boys all crossed over to become members of Boy Scout Troop 163.

The boys weren't the only ones who earned awards for Scouting.  Mike was honored with the District Award of Merit.

All the Award of Merit recipients.  I am so proud of Mike and so glad that the Scouts realize what a great guy they have in him.

We also visited the Airbase in Peoria.  I'm gonna let the pictures speak for themselves.

That's it on the scouting front.  Patrick has been to two troop meeting and come home very excited.  He is already working on his Scout rank.
