Pittsburgh & Gettysburgh

The next leg of our journey landed us in Pittsburgh with Anna and Matt. George was fascinated by their cats and even seemed to strike up a conversation.

On Monday, Anna took us the Children's Museum for a lot of fun. Here's Mike wearing one of Mr. Roger's sweaters.

Becca had fun dressing up.

Anna enjoyed the puppets.

I don't know what George is doing but he sure looks happy.

I have no idea what we're looking at.

There was lots of climbing for Patrick.

Anna tried the slide and I guess it was a bit scary!

Here Anna helped Becca crank a parachute up to be dropped down a floor.

Boy heaven = tools everywhere.

We dropped pebbles into a kettle covered inside with nails. The sound was very cool.

This see-saw is also a pump. See the bubbles?

The nite-brites were a big hit.

The kids really enjoyed playing at the sand tables.

On our way to Philadelphia we stopped in Gettysburg. Here I introduced the kids to the 16th president.

Thanks again to Anna and Matt for letting us crash and showing us a bit of their city. Next...on to Philly!
