Halloween

Our Halloween celebrations started early in week when we carved pumpkins. Becca and Patrick each designed their own and the adults cut them out.

He's a good one of the boys with the jack-o-lanterns.

All the kids, and me, with their pumpkins.

George had a good time crawling around on the floor.

And then he pulled himself up on the draw handles.

Did you see what I did Dad?

The finished products.

This Patrick before going to school on Friday. I made his costume and I have to say it turned out really well.

The kids wearing their Halloween T-shirts.

I also made Mike's costume. He got the hat for the Man in the Yellow Hat (Curious George) and the shirt of a squire (for Patrick). If you don't get the coconuts, rent Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

We went to the Showalter's to celebrate Emily's birthdya and once again, they rented a bouncing castle. The Hatton children did their part and had a great time.

Even George.

Emily had so much fun, her hair stood up.

Emily and Sam looking at Mike like he's crazy.

Becca enjoying the slide.

A good time was had on the swings as well.

George is his father's son. He always goes for the ball.

There was pumpkin coloring in the garage.

I don't want to know what George is doing in this picture.

Emily did a great job blowing out her candles but Patrick was ready if he was needed.

The beautiful Showalter girls.

The Hatton men all dressed up.

Becca as Tinker Bell. I was the only one not in costume.

Waiting for the adults to get ready.

LET"S GO!!!

Teddy made a great Pooh bear.

The first house we hit.

I thought the kid in the Gilly suit was great.

Mike used Patrick's extra sword to rein in the kids.

Going for some candy.

We had lots of kids with us.

Some of the kids needed to be carried.

Mike also used his coconuts to direct the kids.

In the end it was too much for George.

I hope you all had as much fun as we did on Halloween. Come back later this week for updates and pictures of Becca's birthday.
