Not much going on in our lives. Patrick had his last soccer game for the season last Monday. Here's a great shot of Becca and George at a game.
George exploring.
Not much going on except that this weekend Mike started a "small" remodeling project. First he removed the dry wall...
...then he and Patrick Showalter removed the French doors.
Then they filled in the hole. We're going to have a closet in our room! My husband really loves me.
And from the outside/back porch.
I'll end with this great shot of the kids on the couch tonight. What beautiful kids.
Say an extra prayer for Mike has he works long into the night and me as I try to help him as much as I can. And for the kids as the give up some Dad time.

Big Surprise!
Yesterday Grandpa Sullivan surprised the kids and came to see us. He had a meeting this morning with CAT.
The kids found books for him to read in 2 seconds flat.
Last weekend we took a little drive across the river and up the hill to get some shots with the leaves. Here's Patrick.
Then Becca.
And George.
Now the girls.
And the boys.
What a good looking family!
George and Mike had to take a nap after the photo session.
Becca let me braid her hair and she looked awesome!
This picture turned out pretty good.
Becca and Pat show George how to rock the drum.
George also surprised us this afternoon by standing all by himself for 5 or 6 seconds.
Life is going pretty well. Patrick has another field trip tomorrow, this time to the fire station. We're trying to build a closet in our room (that's right there's no closet in our bedroom!) and trying to clean everything out of the way before the weekend. If you have some time and the desire to work, stop on by!

Apple Blossom Farm
Patrick had his first field trip yesterday to Apple Blossom Farm. He allowed the rest of us to come along.
Becca out looking for a pumpkin.
Patrick looking too. But unlike his sister, he found one.
On the hay wagon going back to the main buildings.
Mrs. Borrowman enjoying the sunshine and the kids.
The group was made up of both the morning and afternoon classes. That's 24 kids and they were great!
The farm also had a bee colony. You can see that Becca made herself part of the class without hesitation.
After a snack of apple donuts and cider the kids hit the extensive playground.
George crawled around and enjoyed the craziness of the big kids.
He shared this beautiful smile with all the parents. He even hung out with someone else while I took Becca to the bathroom.
Becca and Pat had fun climbing inside the net...
...while George played on the outside.
Maggie stopped to say hi to George and tell me about the baby at her house.
It was a great day. Thanks to all the parents who were official chaperons and to the teacher who allowed us to tang along.

First Weekend of October
Last weekend was kinda busy around here. While Patrick was at school, Becca and I made 2 French Silk pies for Mike's birthday. Here she is after some taste testing.
Friday was also the homecoming parade right in front of our house. Chris helped me out and took George for a minute.
Teddy had fun running around on the porch.
Waiting for the parade to start.
We can hear the fire trucks coming!
On Monday, Mike took the afternoon off to paint the back stairs.
And of course the kids wanted to be outside with Dad.
George found the leaves delicious.
I'm told this is their bed.
I can only assume they were using the bats as horns.
George was sitting back much further when I started to take this picture. The little bugger is quick.
That's all for now. We hope you can all enjoy the fine weather and be outside.

Alumni Band Weekend
Last week we went to South Bend to see family and let Mike march with the alumni band. Here are Becca and George enjoying the sunshine while we wait for band practice to start.
Patrick kept his eyes on the practice field to make sure he didn't miss anything.
Ain't he cute?
Mike too! What a cheese-ball.
You can see the golden dome in the background in this one.
George laughing at Pete.
Mistelle and George hanging out together.
Teresa and Lucas enjoying the great day.
AJ, Patrick and Gabe love the band!
Becca ignored her Godfather and ran to give his wife a hug. Erin loved it!
Here be the alumni trombones.
Amber was a little late to the party, but who is the big dork next to her?
Classes of 2002 & 2003 rank.
Mike, how dare you use music! What kind of bone are you?
Its kinda fuzzy, but this is a great shot of Kanka and Mike.
Here are some random shots of the massive band on the field. Thanks Mistelle for not only taking the pictures but for being a pack-mule with Erin. We all appreciate your help.
Yum, apples.
We'll close with a great shot of Mike and Dave.
The kids and I had a great time at Dan and Teresa's house but no camera. George finally meet his great aunt Joan who just loved the smiling boy. Thanks to D,T and the boys for putting us up and it was great to see everyone again.
