Today is Ash Wednesday so the kids and I got up extra early to go to church. Patrick managed to keep the ashes on his head long enough for me to take this picture. I told him to look holy.
I was trying to document the rice in Becca's hair but you can't see it. Isn't she cute anyway?
Patrick has been going to story time at the library. He sits and listens while I chase Becca around the kids room.
Becca let me put a barrette in her hair and showed me her toy. Both were quickly discarded after this picture.
Patrick just being silly.
Last weekend, Mike bravely set up the train tracks while Becca was awake! Mike tried to take supplies to the castle on the train but Patrick didn't like that idea at all.
I love it when the kids gang-up on Dad instead of me.
Nothing to exciting is going on around here. We've been blessed with health, happy kids. Becca now moos and neighs but is still working on oinking. My personal favorite is when Count von Count is on Sesame Street and she says "ha ha ha" just like him!

Its been awhile
It's been almost two weeks since I posted last. So there a ton of photos to get through. The kids got a percussion set for Christmas and it gets put to good use.
The first Saturday in this month was so nice that we took the kids for a bike ride, Becca's first. Before we left I took a few shots of the passengers in their helmets.
Becca's hair is getting so long!
For Valentine's Day weekend, we went to Fort Wayne, IN to visit friends. The women and kids headed off to the Science Center and had a blast. There was a tilted room where the kids tried to walk straight.
Patrick went in the sewers.
Zach and Patrick made their television debut.
There was a section for the little kids too. Patrick displayed his musical abilities.
Becca found the pool and would not be moved even with dripping wet sleeves.
Zach tried to build a dam.
Back at the Engles, Patrick and Zach had fun spinning in a chair.
And Becca kept the dog company.
Ken found a chair and took a long nap.
When we got home, the kids played with the sleeping bag.
And Becca helped unpack. Ye, she has underwear around her head!
We learn of yet another baby on the way, taking our total up to nine. I am so excited for each and everyone of these families and look forward to meeting the newborns.

It's Febuary and cold
Despite the promised warm up, it's still really, really cold outside. And Patrick's skin is still dry and itchy. But we've somehow managed to have fun and keep ourselves entertained. Becca enjoys reading her prayer book.
The kids use the lazy-boy as a swing or titter-totter.
Of course we always take time to beautify.
Becca now says "thank you", "love you" and even sang"Happy Birthday" to herself the other day. This things are not articulated very well at all but you can tell what she's trying to say. We're all looking forward to going outside for more then two minutes this weekend and hope you all make it out as well.
