Not too much is going on around here. Patrick is still trying to master the potty. Becca seems to have crawling and pulling herself up down. We spent about an hour picking cherries on our cherry tree last weekend. Here is Mike pitting some with my knitting needle(size 2).
Becca doing her gorilla crawl, butt up in the air and knees straight.
Both kids like to get in some reading...
...wherever they can.
Sharing toys is very big in this house. I've learned that if I ask Patrick to pick out a toy for Becca to play with, he's a much happier person and more willing to share.
We wish you all a fun and safe Independence Day.

Becca Crawling
I hope you all enjoy this short video of Becca showing off her new found talent crawling to get the infamous animal train. In case you don't have the train yourself and were wondering, yes it does play other songs, and yes, they are all that annoying.

Poop!!
He did it!!!! Patrick has pooped in the potty! We started potty training last Tuesday and he's pooped in the potty twice and peed more times then I can count. He loves putting stickers on his chart and is excited to inform everyone on the phone that "I went poop in the potty!" Here's a picture of him sporting the big boy underwear.
In other news, Becca couldn't let Patrick have the spotlight to himself. She figured out how to pull herself up from sitting on the floor to standing as well as how to crawl this week(video to follow soon). Can't be sibling rivalry starting already?
You may remember that Patrick gave piano lessons to Ernie and Bert awhile back. He has now added his sister to his list of students.
Happy Father's Day to one and all.

She's a scooter!
Yes, Becca has learned to scoot. She pulls herself around with her arms and right leg. And good God is she fast! In other news, Patrick had 24-hour bug this week with a temp of over 100. The mercury outside was almost as hot. I begrudgingly turned on the AC and we all went to the pool several times. Patrick is also working on the last two molars while Becca's awaits tooth #2. But she's excited to be on the move. Here I found her under the toy tool bench. As you can see, Patrick does enjoy her new mobility, until she wants one of his toys.
I'm so proud of my little scooter!
Here the kids are getting a modified pony ride from Dad.
Becca had a blast playing under the laundry basket yesterday.
After a big morning out, this is what I carried in from the car.

June is Bustin' Out All Over!
First, let me say Happy Birthday A.J. Sullivan who turned 4 today.
We've had good week. Grandma Hatton came to visit last Friday. Becca and Patrick are always excited to see new faces in the house, especially Grandma.
With the new month came hot weather. We're been to the pool twice and through the sprinklers once since Saturday.
But we're managed to stay a happy family.
And now, I'd like to pay a little tribute to my son, Patrick. If you've talked to him lately, you know he is delightful and polite. Even when playing "drive-through" by himself he can be heard say "cheeseburger, fries please, thank you, your welcome, bye." (By the way that quote is all one word. I just put the commas in so you could read it.) He is also a sweet, kind and giving person. He loves to sing to Becca and bring a clean diaper and wipes when she needs to be changed. He can always get her to smile no matter how sad she is.
He also shares his vast knowledge with Becca. He doesn't often let me take pictures of these lessons. Here Patrick is teaching her how to roll the ball.
And she loved it.
As wonderful and helpful as Patrick is, he has his fits too. He won't want me to forget that he is, after all, two!
