Updates

Okay, I know in my last post I said I would have updated heights and weights later in the week. Unfortunately, something came up with our pediatrician, and the appointment was delayed until this week. Patrick is now weighing in at 25 lbs 7 oz. and is 35 1/2" tall, despite not wanting to eat anything that isn't a carb. Becca, on the other hand, is now up to 13 lb 2 oz. and 23 1/2" tall, and is now typically only getting up once per night.

The other big news for the week is that Patrick has successfully transitioned from the crib to his toddler bed. The first couple of nap times were a little hairy for Meg, and there were two days when Meg went up to check on him during his nap to find him asleep on the floor in front of the door to his room. Going to bed for the night however has been remarkably easy. Of course I’ve probably now jinxed things and he’ll be up pulling all the clothes out of the dressers tonight.

There is not much else to report at the moment. We survived the cold snap that sent wind chills close to 30 below. Rebecca is smiling all the time now, and is starting to toy with the idea of rolling over, but is still a ways away. Patrick has had a couple of play dates with some friends from church Samantha and Sophia (who he calls Dam and Pia) and seemed to enjoy himself, and Meg enjoyed having someone who wasn’t in diapers to talk to during the day.
