Halloween

We started celebrating Halloween last Sunday with Trunk or Treat at the KC hall.

Here are all three kids dressed up.

Today, we headed over to the Showalters for dinner and Trick or Treating.  Here's some of the giant crew that made the rounds.

First Week of October

Last week, Patrick had his first Tiger Cubs meeting.  I insisted on taking some pictures.

Here are my Scouts.  Mike is looking pretty good in that uniform.

With less than 5 weeks to go, I thought a shot of big my belly was a good idea.

Becca also got to go on her first field trip to the pumpkin farm this week.  I did not go but a friend was kind enough to share her pictures.

Today was the homecoming parade so we braved the cold, rainy weather to watch.

Patrick asked me to film him marching in the parade with the Cub Scouts so I did.  Enjoy.

Lots to share

 Hello and welcome back to Little Hats.  I have a back log of photos to share with you today so get comfortable.  Here are some cute shots of George demonstrating his musical abilities.

 I thought I'd also capture what goes on around here with two kids at school in the morning.  George enjoys all the space to spread out the toys.

The kids got into the costumes and Patrick shows off his Jedi robe with beads.

No dress-up time would be complete if George didn't put on a dress, some high heels, and a sword.

We recently acquired a used swing set and Mike finally got a chance to set it up over the weekend.  The kids were very excited to test it out.

Today, after a lot of fussing, I left George to sit at the table until he could tell me what he wanted.  A few minutes later I found him like this.

Last week Becca had "Unpack Your Backpack" day where she got to bring her school supplies into the classroom and look around.  Here we are with the Showalter kids outside of school.

I don't know what face George is making in these next two pictures, but its cute.

This morning Becca, the big girl that she is, headed off to preschool.

George is not to be left out. Who knew Patrick's backpack was so interesting.

Becca's off the school every weekday morning and her sweet helpfulness will be missed.  Already the house seems so quite but George is playing very nicely with cars.  I'm very proud of both my school kids and hope they continue to love learning.

1st Grade Begins

 Patrick stared 1st grade this morning.  It was just a half day but it sounds like he had lots of fun.
