The Rest of May...Finally

I've been having some trouble getting pictures on the computer so I apologize for the long wait.  Let's just get to the pictures.

Becca and the other 4th graders played records at the spring band concert.
Trombones doing their thing.

We had some very hot days in the last half of May.  Pigtails and bikes were necessary.

Mike got me a statue of Mary for the garden for Mother's Day.  Here's Mary and Mary.

All my girls.

After dinner, we tried to go for a family bike ride but Lia and I ended up in the ER instead.  She ripped her lip pretty well but it turned out to be nothing.  She was super tough and brave.

A few days later, Lia wrapped up her preschool career with a picnic.

Little Miss Sassy.

Lia did very well in preK4, being the first to tie her shoes and read in her class.  Thank you Mrs. Borrowman for being absolutely wonderful with all of my kids.  You will be missed.

I'm attempting to grow some flowers out in front of the house.

With the heat, the girls wanted to cool off with the sprinkler.  Mary wasn't really sure what to thing so Becca tried to show her how much fun it is.

Proof that she does sleep.

Lia asked me to braid her wet hair before bed one night.

May was a busy month but so are all the rest.  We are proud to say all the kids did well at school but are enjoying some more down time.

Zoo Trip

Mary spent the yesterday morning with a friend of mine so I could go to the zoo with Lia and her preschool class.  The preK3 class came out to say good bye.

Lia on the bus.

Don't worry, she's allowed to be here.

Lia and Lydia.

You gotta climb on the camel.

After running around the zoo, with brief stops to look at the animals, the kids got a snack.

Tomorrow is a big day around here.  George is going to make his First Holy Communion and our house is very, very clean.  Lots of pictures will be taken but it may be awhile before they make it to the blog.

Bowling and More

This week Our Lady of Fatima visited our house.

The girls playing while the others are at school.

The boys and I went to play laser tag and bowling.  George was not fond of having his picture taken.

Go George.

What is he doing with his hand?

Next up, Lia and I go to the zoo.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Sometime around the middle of April, Mike took Becca to the St. Pat Daddy-Daughter dance.  Here is her beautiful hair.

Hey good looking!

Mike watching hockey with Mary following his lead.

I have no idea what she's doing here.

Dirt Dessert anyone?

Patrick decided to try discus.  It could have gone much worse, especially since the discus might weigh more than Patrick does.

Okay, that's it for now.
