Halloween 2016

Our Halloween celebrations started last Tuesday with Lia's preK3 party.  Here she is in the van ready to party.

Lia and her boys waiting for some candy in school.

There are just four kids in the class right now and Lia was telling us how she is in charge with Miss Keck.
We also  helped celebrate 5 years cancer free for a young lady at our school. Mike went as Arthur Dent.

Sunday we finally got around to getting pumpkins.

G&G Sullivan came over for some festivities.  Of course they had to read a book or twelve.

On Halloween Day, Becca gave a speech about Mother Teresa, complete with costume.

Here are the kids ready to get going right after Lia's dress got caught in the wheel of the stroller.  Maybe that's why Mary was crying.

Come back soon for All Saints Day pictures!

October is Half Gone.

Yesterday was a busy day at our house.  Miss Mary turned 8 months old.  Here are some shots of the cutie.

And her butt.  It is hard to crawl in that dress.

The normal Lia attack.

I'm gonna get you Mom!

We also made a trip to the Fire Station to finish up a Tiger Scouts requirement.  George has finished 4 of the 7 requirements already!

George was kinda apprehensive until he saw the old fire trucks.

There was a fire pole!

Lia in the truck.

George taking control.

We also had Adoration at church last night. I was waiting for the babies to rumble.
But we made it over to dinner with no problems.  I am amazed at how much Mary has caught up to Thomas.
There was a little more fun after all the other kids went to bed.

Sickness has been making its way through the house over the last week and a half.  Mary is teething and full of junk, which means she's not sleeping very well. All of that and late night Cub games means the adults are in need of a full night's sleep.  Oh well, XC is finished and it is the last week of soccer so we'll just have to get through it.

October Already!

It has been a crazy 10 days in October.  Some how in between soccer, XC, and the multiple daily trips to school, Mary has grown and learned so much.  Here she is watching soccer.

Becca didn't feel so hot at the end of last week.  While she was home, she and Lia made this!

Patrick finished his first XC season on Saturday as the 1st alternate at sectionals.  Although the team did not qualify for state, Patrick has established himself as runner and is set up to do very well next year.  We are very proud of him.

I have LOVED watching this kid run and improve.

Mary has been using her time well.  On Oct 4, she learned to pull herself up and then finally conquered the crawling thing.  I have a video but I can't get it to load.  She is very happy and proud of herself for both but still gets frustrated that everyone else moves so much faster.

September Went By Fast!

I have not been keeping this updated very well.  But let me share some pictures from the past month.  Miss Cecilia started preschool!  She is the only girl in a class of 5 and she loves it!

On the steps ready to go!

Me and my gal.

And my other gal.

Mary's first football season.

Mary has decided to sit up.  She's almost crawling but not quite.

In the yard.

Last week was the Homecoming parade and my Tiger Cubs were all there to represent Pack 168.

School is going well so far.  Patrick is working hard at Scouts and Cross Country; Becca is rocking 3rd grade; George is working hard at 1st grade but we still haven't figured out how he learns best; Lia is tell the other kids what all the letters are; and Mary is working on mobility.  Mike continues to coach soccer for two kids as well as lead our Scout pack.  I have added Tiger Cub den leader to my list of titles and having fun with my 4 Scouts.  All in all, life is good.

Keepin' Busy

Let's just jump in shall we?  Some sisterly love.

Ice cream time.

Right before school started, George lost his first tooth, followed very quickly by the second.

Patrick also started running Cross Country this year.  He's had three races, two went well, the other not so much.

The girls had their faces painted last week at the block party.

Mary may be crawling before she sits up, but it is a race to see which one is achieved first.

Lia made a "water gun" out of tinker toys.

Just being cute.

Cecilia starts preschool on Tuesday.  She will be the only girl in her class of 6 so please pray for those boys.  We're all doing well and are in good health.
