May

Finally, we have reached the pictures from May.  I will start with proof of how amazing Becca is.  She and I attended the St. Pat's 8th grade graduation where she volunteered to cantor the Mass 5 minutes before it started.  She did a great job.

We enjoyed the annual Field Day last week.  The kids had a great time.

There was a hard fought limbo contest.  They were allowed to used their elbows but Cecilia won in the end.

We also attended the Memorial Day parade and dedication.

Mary also had her first softball game yesterday.

As always, we are busy around here and don't often stop to take pictures.  Lots of activity coming this summer and I will try to be better.

April

We started April with a tornado warning that sent us to the basement.  It was the first of many trips to the basement this spring.

After another crash, which I will not share pictures of here, we had to buy another car for Patrick.

I forced everyone to take a picture with me.

Patrick was Leonato in "Much Ado About Nothing" at Chesterton.  He promised his female school mates that he wouldn't cut his hair so they could style it.  Surprisingly, they made it work and he has kept it since.

That's it for April.  Come back soon for May.

March

The last day(s) of school have come and gone in out house so I have the time to share some photos with you all.  We will go all the way back to March to start.  Becca did a solo for Solo & Ensemble Competition and she did an excellent job.

George, along with all the other 7th grades, showed off his art work at school.  He pooh-poohed it but I thought it was nice.

The 4th grade class made a trip to PND to explore some science.

The kids had a good time.

George, Becca, and I made a trip down to Springfield to work on some merit badges.

Cecilia once again enjoyed playing basketball and showing off her spunky attitude,

Becca also enjoyed her season of JV soccer.  I don't have any pictures of her, but of her sisters freezing while they watch.

I will close with a picture of a rainbow.
