February Birthdays

February is a busy birthday month for us.  We will start with George turning 12.  This goofball continues to be just that, only slightly taller.

He decided to forgo the normal birthday candles and cake an used a normal candle with his ice cream.

We also got a fair amount of snow.

Mary made a time line of her life for school.  She included becoming besties with Katie and her future marriage.

This past week Miss Mary turned 6!  It is hard to believe that his ray of sunshine has only been in our lives for 6 years but even hard to realized that tiny little baby is so big.

The next day, more snow hit our area so we didn't have school.  Mary used the time to explore her gifts.  This little lap-table was a favorite.

Its been a busy lately but that seems to be the norm the last few years.  We are all healthy and well, expcet for a few sniffles. Come back again soon for a Cub Scout post.

2022 Pinewood Derby

 Another Pinewood Derby is in the books for this Scouting family.  For the first time, I was not just watching, I was helping run it.  Mary enjoyed racing the cars.

As I said, I didn't get to take many pictures because I was working one of the tracks.  Cecilia's car did not do as well as in the past but Mary placed first in her den.  It was a good day.
