We headed to Columbus for Thanksgiving this year and had a great time. Grandma and pa Coffey were even kind enough to allow us to come to their home. In this picture, every decided to sit in Young John's lap.
Lia wasn't so sure of all the changes so she stayed very close to Mom.
"Turbo" was a very interesting movie and kept the kids out of the way for the final preparations.
John was frequently attacked by his young cousins and need a break.
Erin needed a break as well and took a snooze on the love seat.
Lia consented to taking a nap with Dad (and my back thanks you Mike!)
George enjoyed all the toys at his cousin's house. I love him in the Iron Man mask.
More cousin's came up to see us on Friday. Thank you Venias for making the trip up from Cinnci.
The game of choice seemed to be War. Once a general was decided on, it was nothing but Nerf guns! Katie may have a furniture as an action hero.
Poor Mitt wanted to play with the kids so much but he easily would have bowled them down. The kids took turns crossing the gate and giving him love.
Erin figured out the way into Cecilia's heart: Sit by the fireplace, make funny faces, and give her Goldfish crackers.
"Hey Girl!"
Jake was just as sweet as he could be.
Erin showed Becca and Katie how to play a game on the I-Pad.
The third floor is play land which is were the kids spent most of their time.
Taking a break from play to color.
Thanks a million to all of the Coffeys for having us for the weekend. We were able to find a kitchen table in their vast warehouse of inventory and we got a needed break from the tornado aftermath. The clean up in our town continues and spirits remain surprising high. Christmas is alive in the hearts of this community and I feel blessed to live here.
