March-April 2026

Mary played Park District basketball this winter.

I vaguely remember being the younger parents when Patrick was little but we sure are lookin old-ish here.

District Pinewood Derby

\\\
You may remember that Patrick had a seizure in March 2025.  The second one happened in February 2026, followed by way too many since.  I had a lovely drive down to KS to pick him up for spring break.

St. Patrick's Day parade in Peoria.

The National Honors Society honors the seniors every year.  In case you can't read that, Becca will be studying Physics with an emphasis on Astro Physics.
I talked Mike into wearing our ND Band sweater to the ceremony for that added fun for Becca.
The WCHS Girls Basketball team was amazing this year, winning the school first state championship.  Mike and Cecilia had a great time at the game.

Like so many young men, George's hair has grown shaggy lately.  I told him he needed to take care of it or cut it.  He choose the latter.

Cecilia need another thing so she did Declamations this spring.

March means track.  Cecilia's favorites are hurdles and high jump.
George had to make meals to complete his cooking merit badge.

April was just as nuts.  Mary had a camp out that Cecilia, George, and I attended as well.  Cecilia needed some down time in the tent.

But still caught a fish.

While we camping, Becca and Mike went to the Rally for incoming freshman.

Becca loved her Lego minifigure.

She also had her final choir concert in April.  She had a speaking part.

And of course, senior prom.  Becca has been seeing this nice young man for awhile.  They are both smart, hardworking, and kind.  He's off to Purdue in the fall.

Okay, we are almost there.  Only May to catch up on.
