Becca's 1st Communion

The first weekend of May was a bi crazy for us.  Becca celebrated her 1st Holy Communion on Saturday.  We'll start with George.

I took a few pictures when we arrived.  Becca looks so lady like.

But this is my goofball!

With her buddy Lydia.
With Pia before the Mass.

Mike and George had a late morning soccer game and arrived later then the rest of us.  Mike got some beautiful shots of Becca and George.

I love this kid!

All the new communicate sang a song for us.  It was lovely.

Aunt Teresa was kind enough to share the pictures she took from up in the balcony.  Patrick was excited to serve at the Mass.

Becca was delighted to join the communion club.

Now on to the party.  Annie and Tyler hanging out.

Becca enthralled by a book.
By our new apple tree in the back yard.
Becca with her Godmother, Aunt Annie.

Lia is not one to be left out.

Patrick being a pain while Grandma Sullivan tries to take a picture.

Becca with Grandma Sullivan.

Since Aunt Teresa has a house full of boys, Becca has always been happy to step in as her little girl.
Mary did not lack for attention that afternoon.  Here she is with Uncle Dan.

Gabe with Mary.

All the Sullivan boys fell in love with her as well.  Who can blame them?

That's it for now.  Thank you Teresa for sharing your photos.  Come back soon for even more photos from the weekend.

May 4th

We have a busy weekend coming up so I thought I'd empty my upload folder before we got there.  Here is a picture of Mary in her daddy's outfit.

Finally, Mary fits into 0-3 month clothes!

Mike called this the pink nightmare.  I think Mary agrees.

Lia loves to have her picture taken with her little sister.

Shocking!

Daddy is soo silly!

I got a little wet one afternoon picking up the kids from school.  I left Lia and Mary in the car.

George chilling at the soccer fields.

Lia got her first haircut last weekend.

Becca got her hair cut too.

Yesterday, I managed to get a bow in Mary's hair.  It didn't stay long, but it sure was cute.

We are keeping busy with soccer, softball, baseball, and 1st Communion prep, which is happening on Saturday.  Despite the general craziness, we are remain healthy and mostly happy.  God bless you all.

Finding Normal

We are starting to find our new normal around here. Mary is FINALLY off the apnea monitor and growing like a weed.  The other kids do everything to entertain her.  Here is Becca reading her a book, which she loves!

Mary hanging out with Dad.

Me enjoying some snuggle time with Mary on one of those days she just wanted to be held.

I think someone got a hold of my phone.

Last Sunday we watched "Star Wars: The Force Awakes" for the first time as a family.  The kids didn't even notice I took a picture.

Wire free and feeling fine!

We also pulled out the floor mate for the first time this week.  Mary like it almost as much as Cecilia did.

Life continues to be busy with school, soccer and scouts.  Mike will be gone three weeks in the next month so please say a prayer for my patience.

Venia Visit

We are on Spring Break this week and instead of going somewhere, we had visitors.  The Venias came to meet Mary and just hang out.  We went to the zoo.

The boys had a great time building with Legos.

Both Clara and Liam were excited to hold Miss Mary, despite her complaining.

Even though they had to leave earlier than planned, we had a great time with the Venias.  I also had my 6 week follow-up appointment with the surgeon and he said I was healing very well. I'm going back in 2 months to be checked again but he was very happy with my condition.  Thank you Grandma Jan for driving all that way so I could go to the doctor without all the kids.
